I know it’s disappointing, and I know that I can ramble on about all the bias I saw during the series, but I say we look at the positive. As we say goodbye to the seniors, let us not forget what they did for this team and what they will continue to do for this team when they leave. Let us all also not forget what an incredible ride this season was.
This was supposed to be a “restocking” year for Michigan. They had two freshman starting pitchers. They were not supposed to be this good. As much as people said these things they kept believing. These girls never not once gave up. They believed for each other. They leaned on each other. After the “terrible” start they got to where they got because they believed and wanted it.
Thank you to the seniors (In Alphabetical order: Amanda Chidester, Bree Evans, Stephanie Kirkpatrick, and Hilary Payne) we will miss you all. Thank you all as well for a wonderful season! In Wagner We Trust (IWWT). #SWAGner
